Author Guidelines

1. Scope and Focus

RCBC focuses primarily on Education, in interdisciplinary dialogue with Philosophy and Theology. Research on pedagogical theory, philosophy of education, integral human formation, patristics, ethics, epistemology and related topics are welcome.

2. Accepted Work Types

The journal exclusively accepts original scientific articles. Works must be between 5 and 10 pages following ABNT standards. Not accepted: book reviews, free essays or previously published works.

3. Formatting

Articles must strictly follow ABNT (Brazilian Association of Technical Standards) norms.

  • Abstract: up to 250 words in Portuguese
  • Keywords: 3 to 5
  • Structure: Introduction, Development, Conclusion
  • References formatted according to ABNT
  • Length: 5 to 10 pages

4. Evaluation Process

Articles undergo internal editorial review carried out by the RCBC team. The process does not include external peer review.

  1. Initial screening (scope and formatting compliance)
  2. Editorial content analysis
  3. Vote by 3 internal reviewers
  4. Approval and continuous flow publication

5. Submission

Submissions are made exclusively through the OJS (Open Journal Systems) platform, available at the address below. You need to create an account or log in to start the process.

6. Ethics and Originality

RCBC requires that all submitted works be original and not under evaluation at another journal.

  • Original work, not simultaneously submitted to another journal
  • Declared and responsible authorship
  • Plagiarism results in immediate rejection and ban on future submissions

7. Copyright

The author retains the copyright of their work. By submitting to RCBC, they grant authorization for publication in the journal. Any republication of the article in other venues must cite the original publication in RCBC.
